Seth Woodbury MacFarlane is an American actor, voice actor, writer, producer, host, filmmaker and singer. MacFarlane is the author of the Family Guy and The Orville television series, and co-creator of American Dad! and The Cleveland Show. He has also written, directed, and starred in the Ted films, its Ted 2 sequels and A Million Ways to Die in the West. MacFarlane graduated from Rhode Island Design School, where he studied animation. Engaged in Hollywood, he is the host and writer for Hanna-Barbera for a number of television series including Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory, and Larry & Steve. He has appeared in several television series such as Gilmore Girls, The War at Home, Star Trek: Enterprise and FlashForward. In 2008, he created his own YouTube video series called Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy by Seth MacFarlane. He has won several awards for his Family Guy work, including five Primetime Emmy Awards and one Annie Award.
